Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
- Support nurses with procedures and equipment preparation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Current Ohio CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for patients
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
