Your Role Will Include:
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the RN.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient preferences.
- Assist with mobility, transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walkers safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs with assistance.
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
