Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Report any changes in a patient’s physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper safety techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current CNA license in the State of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach.
