Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or walking aids.
- Observe and report any changes in patient behavior, physical condition, or symptoms to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with feeding and hydration to ensure patients are comfortable and well-nourished.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment according to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification or willingness to obtain certification through our sponsorship program.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients when necessary.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
