Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming (Activities of Daily Living).
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the nursing staff to ensure optimal care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
- Support patients emotionally and mentally, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or enrollment in an accredited CNA program (willingness to obtain certification).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to chart patient data accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed (CPR certification preferred).
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
