Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate, accurately.
- Provide basic patient care and support as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, surgeries, or examinations using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance to ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the charge nurse or healthcare provider.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated entry-level candidates.
