Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Transport patients to and from procedures, treatments, or other hospital locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the charge nurse immediately.
- Follow all hospital safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or complete our training program.
- Strong desire to learn and succeed in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and empathy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
