Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking using proper lifting techniques.
- Prepare meals and feed patients according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Communicate changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Accurately document patient care activities and report incidents.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
