Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfer activities using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient care plans, daily updates, and incidents accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients at all times.
- Assist with light meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
