Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Document patient conditions and care plans accurately and timely.
- Communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current State of Kansas CNA certification or eligibility to obtain one.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the healthcare field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Basic computer skills for electronic health record entry.
- CPR certification is a plus but not required.
