Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and comfort measures to patients and families.
- Observe patients' conditions, noting changes in behavior, symptoms, or physical appearance.
- Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, or surgeries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required; we welcome candidates who are currently certified or willing to obtain certification upon hiring.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
