Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following OSHA and HIPAA protocols
- Support patients with cognitive impairments using specialized techniques
- Transport patients safely to appointments and therapy sessions
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Exceptional communication skills and empathy
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Positive references from previous employers
