Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, residents' conditions, and care activities
- Administer medications and treatments under RN supervision
- Support emotional well-being through meaningful resident interactions
- Maintain clean, safe environments following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for personalized resident plans
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Flexibility to work variable shifts (including weekends/holidays)
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly populations
