Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and verify personal and insurance information accurately.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
  • Perform basic clinical procedures including phlebotomy, EKGs, and vaccinations.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Manage and maintain electronic health records (EHR) with strict adherence to HIPAA compliance.
  • Order and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (National Certified) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
