Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support rehabilitation exercises under therapist guidance
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with shift scheduling including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
