Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures and the operation of medical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents and patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid and current California State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) safely.
