Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, mobility assistance)
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments
- Implement patient care plans with attention to dignity and safety
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Respond promptly to call bells and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with commitment to patient dignity
- Clear criminal background check and negative drug screen
