Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning using proper techniques
- Support healthcare professionals with medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or acute setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
