Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create personalized care plans
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control protocols
- Support residents with cognitive impairments using person-centered techniques
Qualifications
- Active Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in senior care setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate demeanor with genuine desire to serve seniors
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
