Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper safety protocols
- Document patient care accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Support infection control procedures and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient support
- Transport patients safely for medical procedures and appointments
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
