Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide compassionate support and emotional comfort to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients at all times.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
