Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Support emotional well-being through patient engagement activities
- Complete electronic health records with precision and timeliness
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with EHR systems (experience with Epic a plus)
- Clear TB test and background check within last 12 months
