Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities using proper techniques
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during healthcare journeys
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (must obtain within 30 days if not current)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
