Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health observations
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Support nutritional needs and meal assistance as required
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Report patient condition changes promptly to clinical team
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Clear background check and negative TB test
- California driver's license preferred
