Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain accurate resident care documentation
- Support dining services and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license (if transporting residents)
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Compassionate nature and patience with elderly residents
- Willingness to complete state-approved CNA training
