Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and medication administration under supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and resident families
- Participate in shift handovers and care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or acute care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Compassionate approach to patient care with strong ethics
