Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, operating wheelchairs and stretchers safely.
- Respond to patient call lights and requests for assistance promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient medical records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and common areas.
- Support the nursing staff with wound care and other medical procedures as directed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems is a plus.
