Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support nurses with medical procedures and maintain clean, sanitized environments
- Deliver emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and facility-specific care standards
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care or acute care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly/disabled patients
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and 8-12 hour shifts
