Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately and maintain medical records
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent nursing assistant experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient dignity and confidentiality
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license (if transporting patients)
