Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist licensed nurses with medication administration and treatment procedures as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resident activities to enhance the quality of life.
Qualifications
- Current and active Massachusetts CNA License (or eligible for reciprocity).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
