Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Accurately measure and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Transport patients safely using proper equipment and body mechanics
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain clean, organized patient spaces
- Facilitate patient communication with care team and family members
- Participate in shift reports and care planning meetings
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
