Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art medical/surgical units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize advanced EHR systems for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Lead code blue responses and emergency interventions as needed
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit-based training programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for specialty roles)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and specialty certifications (e.g., PALS, TNCC)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment and critical thinking
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
