Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance, as needed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or healthcare team immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification (CNA I or CNA II) in the state of Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients frequently throughout the shift.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
