Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic CNA to assist our nursing staff in providing exceptional care to our patients in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
- Turn, reposition, and comfort bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores.
- Communicate patient changes in condition to the nursing team promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification is a plus.
