Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
  • Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs, including wound care and hygiene assistance.
  • Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure holistic care.
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations, following safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Valid and current California CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) License in good standing.
