As a CNA, you will be the heart of our care team, providing daily support and companionship to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with eating according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and their families.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition or behavior to the Registered Nurse or Case Manager immediately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
