Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer using proper techniques to ensure safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to update on patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pennsylvania CNA certification (CNA-1 or CNA-2).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
