Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily progress notes in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with sanitation and infection control standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and physicians regarding patient needs and emergencies.
  • Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Washington State CNA license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
