Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and update patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic records.
Qualifications
- Current State of Texas CNA Certification (CNA-1) required.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
