Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, progress, and outcomes in electronic health records.
- Report changes in patient conditions or adverse events to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the State of Colorado.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
