Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including ambulation and transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition or concerns to the charge nurse immediately.
- Document patient care activities and updates in electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Florida CNA License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
