Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential medical records
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months of recent clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
- Reliable transportation to work shifts (including nights/weekends)
