Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Document patient care activities and daily progress notes.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA Certification (or state licensure).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
