Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations) accurately and timely.
- Provide basic nursing care and support under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure safety.
- Communicate patient status changes, concerns, and requests to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and medical records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA Certification (state-issued).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Passion for patient care and a positive attitude.
