Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transfer assistance using proper techniques.
- Administer prescribed medications and document treatment plans accurately.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Registered Nurse (RN).
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida CNA Certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
