Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with therapeutic programs and recreational activities
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support end-of-life care with dignity and respect
- Participate in shift reports and care planning meetings
- Adhere to all HIPAA and facility compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
