Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning using proper techniques
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support patients with activities of daily living while promoting independence
- Participate in care planning meetings and provide input on patient progress
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home health visits
