Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities, symptoms, and changes in condition in medical records.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient needs and updates.
- Hygiene & Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, ensuring proper infection control protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required for immediate hire candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
