Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with feeding and toileting needs as required.
- Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the RN or LPN immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA certification and state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting and standing for long periods.
