Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient progress and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
